Rest is progress too • weeknote vol.1
This week was truly a period of rest (just work and a few chores) no major events. It’s during times like these that I realize how important it is to give the mind a break. Routine helps us shift into an automatic mode that actually frees our minds.
Things I Did
- I got my digital certificate, an important document that allows you to handle government paperwork more easily. I find it fascinating how some institutions have implemented it. I wish my bank accepted it too.
- I finally went to a restaurant I had on my list to try a pastrami sandwich, and it was delicious! It’s called Choripa and it’s located in central Barcelona. I ate a lot and didn’t feel guilty at all because it was so good.
- I made lentils, I love lentils. I think I once posted the recipe here.
Media
- The Platform: a Spanish film that tackles social inequality in a striking and thought-provoking way. Highly recommended.
- One Pace: I’ve just started watching it, currently at the Loguetown arc. Hopefully I’ll catch up someday.

My birthday is coming up, so I’m planning a trip to celebrate in London
