summer vacation summary

Vacations are meant to be enjoyed, a time to disconnect and reset from the daily routine. This year I took 9 days off, and I can sum them up one by one with a photo. It was an intense trip, so here we go:

Day 0: Dublin

Upon arrival, I dropped off my luggage at the accommodation and headed straight to the center of Ireland for a pint of Guinness. Ireland was my first home outside my country, and I always remember it fondly.

Day 1: Killarney

A long road trip across Ireland until reaching the opposite side of the country. Along the way, we visited several castles.

Day 2: Landmarks

During the drive we stopped for meals at different places and saw many natural attractions.

Day 3: London

I feel a strong connection with London, I love it. I’ve visited many times, and there’s always something to do there. Of course, the Underground stations are stunning. I’m a big fan.

Day 4: Warner Bros. Studios

A day filled with food, museums, and landmarks. London makes it easy to enjoy yourself, there’s always something to offer.

Day 5: Bruges

We took a train to Belgium (it was my first time in the country) and stayed in Bruges, a city close to Brussels. I’ll just say it’s stunning, without a doubt the highlight of my trip.

Day 6: Brussels

A very beautiful city, almost like a fairy tale. The funniest part was that my friends got interviewed on a local TV channel . Crazy!

Day 7: Paris

France is a country of contrasts (at times I love it, at other times not so much) but it’s undeniably beautiful.

Day 8: Taking it easy

The last day was very hot, so we kept it chill: relaxing, eating well, and visiting a museum.

Day 9: Return

The final day was a time for reflection, and I didn’t take a photo. I came back home exhausted, I think I need a vacation from my vacation.

It was a very intense trip: several cities, lots of food, and plenty of fun. I want to thank my friends who took the time to plan some activities and host us. I think the best part of the trip was being able to spend time with them.
