Be kind

When I went to Montblanc last weekend, I joined a excursion, very similar to the ones we used to take at school. You meet at a specific time and place, and they take you somewhere on a bus. The difference is that the service I booked doesn’t include anything else. It’s basically just a round trip bus to a destination. I call it a minimalist excursion

But something happened this time. The bus broke down just before reaching us, which meant the trip might be canceled. The organizers contacted another bus company, and they sent a replacement within a reasonable time, a little over 90 minutes. Naturally, some people got upset and decided to cancel their trip right then and there

I, on the other hand, stayed calm. I just went with the moment, and my partner and I started taking photos of our surroundings. We’re not tourists, we know the place, it doesn’t amaze us, but come on! we were standing right next to the Venetian Towers of Barcelona. I know people who travel thousands of kilometers just to take a photo there. Waiting 90 minutes next to such an impressive monument is actually not bad at all

We couldn’t fix the problem. The only options were to leave or to wait, and we chose to wait. So there was nothing left to do but be kind, and I remembered this quote I came across online the other day:

It doesn't cost you anything to be kind, but it could cost you everything if you aren't https://reply.cards/qxqhxhxdrc

And right now, my peace of mind means everything to me... We waited 90 minutes and then went to Montblanc
